The Facility
Eastside Paddle Club is Austin's first indoor and outdoor pickleball club. The facility has six indoor, climate-controlled courts and four outdoor rooftop courts, ten in total, at 979 Springdale Rd in East Austin, about five minutes from downtown. It is the only pickleball facility in Austin with both indoor and outdoor courts, which means play runs year-round through Texas summers and winter rain.
On site: an expert-staffed pro shop, a ball machine, locker rooms, a bar, and a front desk that handles court bookings, demos and event inquiries. Balls are provided on every court.
Court Reservations & Open Play
Reserve a court. Members and non-members book indoor or rooftop courts through the Eastside Paddle Club app (espc.podplay.app) or by calling (512) 294-2799. Non-member reservations are $20–$40 per hour. Core members reserve rooftop courts free and indoor courts at 50% off; Premier members reserve both free. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead.
Join open play. Open play runs daily and is grouped by skill level, so beginners play with beginners and 4.0s play with 4.0s. Players stack paddles in a queue and rotate on. Sessions are free for members and $15–$18 for non-members; register in the app or walk in if there is space.
Try a paddle first. Any paddle on the pro shop wall can be demoed on court with a fitting from staff: free for members, $5 for non-members. Book a demo →
Leagues, Clinics & Coaching
Leagues run across multiple days and nights, indoors and on the rooftop, with divisions grouped by skill level so the matches are close. Anyone can register; members get 50% off and Premier members play free. Because six of the ten courts are indoors, league nights are never rained out.
Clinics and lessons are run by a staff of experienced coaches: weekly beginner clinics, intermediate and advanced drill sessions, youth clinics for kids and teens, and private lessons. Premier members get four clinics a year included. See the schedule →
